COMMEMORATING the 2025 Annual Dance hosted by
Prince Hall Ashlar Lodge No. 94, to be held on May
17, 2025

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize and
honor those esteemed organizations and time-honored traditions that
strengthen our communities, promote civic engagement, and preserve
cultural and historical legacies; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is proud to commemorate
the 2025 Annual Dance hosted by Prince Hall Ashlar Lodge No. 94, a
distinguished Masonic Lodge under the jurisdiction of the Prince Hall
Grand Lodge of the State of New York, Free and Accepted Masons, to be
held on Saturday, May 17, 2025; and

WHEREAS, Prince Hall Freemasonry has played a vital role in African
American history and culture, standing as a beacon of leadership, moral
character, scholarship, and service since its founding in the 18th
century; and

WHEREAS, Ashlar Lodge No. 94, under the esteemed leadership of
Worshipful Master Freddie Larry, continues to uphold the values of
charity, brotherhood, and integrity, contributing meaningfully to the
social, educational, and spiritual advancement of the community and
beyond; and

WHEREAS, The Annual Dance, a cherished tradition, brings together
members, families, and community partners to celebrate the lodge's
achievements, honor its legacy, and reaffirm its commitment to service
and unity; and

WHEREAS, This festive occasion not only supports the Lodge's
fraternal mission, but also fosters community bonding, cultural pride,
and the spirit of fellowship that has defined Ashlar Lodge No. 94 for
generations; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commemorate the 2025 Annual Dance hosted by Prince Hall Ashlar Lodge No.
94, to be held on May 17, 2025, and to recognize the Lodge's enduring
contributions to the strength, vitality, and progress of its community;
and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Worshipful Master Freddie Larry and the members of Prince
Hall Ashlar Lodge No. 94 in honor of this meaningful occasion.
