COMMEMORATING the 2025 Gone But Not Forgotten
Mother's Day Brunch on May 10, 2025

WHEREAS, This Legislative Body takes great pride in recognizing
events that celebrate the enduring bonds of family, community, and
remembrance; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to
commemorate the 2025 Gone But Not Forgotten Mother's Day Brunch to be
held on Saturday, May 10, 2025; and

WHEREAS, The Gone But Not Forgotten Mother's Day Brunch stands as a
heartfelt tribute to mothers who have passed on, as well as to those who
have served as maternal figures in our lives; and

WHEREAS, This annual gathering offers an inclusive and uplifting
environment for individuals to honor and celebrate their beloved
mothers, grandmothers, aunts, godmothers, and other cherished maternal
figures, fostering a sense of unity and healing among attendees; and

WHEREAS, The 2025 event promises a vibrant program, creating a space
for reflection, joy, and communal support; and

WHEREAS, The organizers of the Gone But Not Forgotten Mother's Day
Brunch have demonstrated a steadfast commitment to honoring the legacy
of mothers and maternal figures, providing a platform for shared
memories and collective healing; and

WHEREAS, It is fitting to recognize and commend the efforts of the
event organizers and participants for their dedication to preserving the
memory of loved ones and strengthening community bonds through this
meaningful celebration; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commemorate the 2025 Gone But Not Forgotten Mother's Day Brunch, and to
extend its heartfelt appreciation to the organizers and attendees for
their contributions to the cultural and emotional fabric of our
community; and be it further

RESOLVED, That copies of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to the organizers of the Gone But Not Forgotten Mother's Day
Brunch.
