COMMEMORATING the 2025 Medina Court No. 11
Commandress Ball and honoring Illustrious
Commandress Daughter Leval Barrera

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize and
commend distinguished organizations and leaders whose enduring
commitment to service uplifts their communities and strengthens civic
life across New York State; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to
commemorate the 2025 Medina Court No. 11 Commandress Ball, to be held on
Sunday, May 18, 2025, and to honor Illustrious Commandress Daughter
Leval Barrera for her outstanding leadership and dedication; and

WHEREAS, Medina Court No. 11, an esteemed affiliate of the Daughters
of the Imperial Court, the women's auxiliary to the Ancient Egyptian
Arabic Order Nobles Mystic Shrine, has long been committed to promoting
philanthropy, scholarship, cultural heritage, and service within the
community; and

WHEREAS, Under the distinguished leadership of Illustrious
Commandress Leval Barrera, Medina Court No. 11 has continued to advance
its mission of sisterhood, charitable engagement, and excellence in
fraternal service; and

WHEREAS, The Commandress Ball serves as an annual occasion to
reflect on the court's achievements, celebrate the strength of its
leadership, and uplift the values of unity, purpose, and legacy that
define the organization; and

WHEREAS, Daughter Leval Barrera has exemplified the highest ideals
of the order through her unwavering service, integrity, and commitment
to empowering others, earning the admiration and respect of her court
and the wider fraternal and civic communities; and

WHEREAS, It is fitting to honor and celebrate such devoted
leadership, which continues to have a meaningful and lasting impact
throughout the State of New York and beyond; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commemorate the 2025 Medina Court No. 11 Commandress Ball, and to honor
Illustrious Commandress Daughter Leval Barrera for her exceptional
leadership and dedicated service; and be it further

RESOLVED, That copies of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Illustrious Commandress Leval Barrera and the members of
Medina Court No. 11 in recognition of this proud occasion.
