Senate Resolution No. 934

        MOURNING    the    death    of   Dino   Magaletto,
        distinguished citizen  and  devoted  member  of  his
        community
 
  WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body to pay tribute to
citizens  of  the  State  of  New York whose lifework and civic endeavor
served to enhance the quality of life in their communities and the great
State of New York; and
 
  WHEREAS, Dino Magaletto of Mount Kisco, New York, died on April  23,
2025 at the age of 65; and
 
  WHEREAS,  Born in Yonkers, New York, on May 11, 1959, to Anna Pinori
and Dino Magaletto Sr., Dino Magaletto  graduated  from  Fox  Lane  High
School   and   acquired   a   multitude  of  certifications  in  IT  and
telecommunications; and
 
  WHEREAS, As a very young man, Dino Magaletto could  often  be  found
tinkering  away  at  his  Father's  and  Uncle's  shop, Dino and Artie's
transmission in Croton Falls, or in  his  cellar,  diligently  repairing
some electronic device for a family member or friend; and
 
  WHEREAS,  Dino  Magaletto's commitment to excellence, and his spirit
of humanity, carried over  into  all  fields  of  enterprise,  including
charitable and civic endeavors; and
 
  WHEREAS,  A  talented  mechanic,  machinist,  and  IT  person,  Dino
Magaletto lent his talents to many employers over his  career  including
Verveba Telecom, whom he was still employed with until his passing; and
 
  WHEREAS,  Dino  Magaletto  remained a long-time resident of Northern
Westchester where he proudly served as a lifetime member of the  Goldens
Bridge Fire Department; and
 
  WHEREAS,  Dino  Magaletto  is survived by several cousins throughout
the tri-state area and Pennsylvania, and the many brothers  and  sisters
within the Goldens Bridge Fire Department; and
 
  WHEREAS,  Armed  with a humanistic spirit and imbued with a sense of
compassion, Dino Magaletto leaves behind a legacy which will long endure
the passage of time and will remain as a comforting  memory  to  all  he
served and befriended; now, therefore, be it
 
  RESOLVED,  That  this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
mourn the death of Dino Magaletto,  distinguished  citizen  and  devoted
member of his community; and be it further
 
  RESOLVED,  That  a  copy  of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to the family of Dino Magaletto.
