COMMEMORATING the 58th Anniversary of Stevener's
Backhoe Service

WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body to recognize and
honor those businesses whose longevity, dedication, and service have
contributed significantly to the economic vitality and quality of life
of the communities they serve; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
longstanding traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to
commemorate the 58th Anniversary of Stevener's Backhoe Service, a
family-owned business whose commitment to excellence has made it a
trusted name throughout the Mohawk Valley; and

WHEREAS, Stevener's Backhoe Service was founded in 1968 by Glenn
Stevener, whose vision, hard work, and dedication established a
reputation for quality workmanship, reliability, and integrity that
remains the cornerstone of the company today; and

WHEREAS, Through decades of steady growth and unwavering commitment
to customer service, the company evolved into Glenn Stevener Inc., while
maintaining the core values upon which it was founded; and

WHEREAS, During the 1980s, a second generation of the Stevener
family joined the business, helping to expand its operations while
preserving the standards of professionalism and customer satisfaction
that had earned the company the respect of its clients and peers; and

WHEREAS, Today, Stevener's Backhoe Service is owned and operated by
the third generation of the Stevener family, continuing the tradition of
committed, quality, and reliable service; and

WHEREAS, Over the course of nearly six decades, the company has
provided vital excavation and site development services, including land
grading, water and sewer line installation and repair, leak detection,
subdivision development, land clearing, and snowplowing services,
supporting residential, commercial, and municipal projects throughout
the region; and

WHEREAS, Stevener's Backhoe Service has earned the trust of
countless customers through its dedication to quality workmanship,
innovative solutions, and a hands-on approach that allows clients to
work directly with company leadership to meet their project needs; and

WHEREAS, The success of Stevener's Backhoe Service stands as a
testament to the value of family-owned businesses, which help strengthen
local economies, create employment opportunities, and serve as pillars
of their communities; and

WHEREAS, As Stevener's Backhoe Service celebrates 58 years of
service, it is fitting and proper to recognize the contributions of the
Stevener family and their employees, whose hard work and dedication have

left a lasting mark on the Mohawk Valley and Central New York; now,
therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commemorate the 58th Anniversary of Stevener's Backhoe Service, and to
extend its sincere gratitude and best wishes to the Stevener family and
all those associated with the company for their many years of service
and success; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Stevener's Backhoe Service.
