COMMEMORATING the 80th Anniversary of the Rotary
Club of the Town of Brewster, New York

WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body to recognize and
celebrate significant milestones of organizations that contribute to the
well-being of their communities and make a lasting impact on society;
and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to
commemorate the 80th Anniversary of the Rotary Club of the Town of
Brewster, New York, a momentous occasion for this exemplary
organization; and

WHEREAS, The Rotary Club of the Town of Brewster, New York, located
in Putnam County, was founded in 1945 and has been a driving force in
fostering civic responsibility, promoting humanitarian service, and
enhancing the quality of life in the community; and

WHEREAS, Since its inception, members of the Rotary Club of Brewster
have worked tirelessly to support various charitable projects, service
initiatives, and community development efforts in Putnam County and
beyond, embodying the Rotary motto, "Service Above Self"; and

WHEREAS, The Rotary Club of Brewster has provided educational
scholarships, organized local food drives, assisted in public health
initiatives, supported youth programs, and improved public
infrastructure in ways that have had a positive and far-reaching impact
on local residents; and

WHEREAS, The members of the Rotary Club of Brewster have exemplified
the true spirit of volunteerism and community service, providing a model
of dedication and leadership for others to follow; and

WHEREAS, The Rotary Club of Brewster is also an integral part of the
global Rotary organization whose efforts in fighting diseases,
supporting education, and promoting peace and goodwill throughout the
world continue to inspire individuals and groups to engage in acts of
kindness and compassion; and

WHEREAS, The Rotary Club of Brewster has made invaluable
contributions to local communities through service projects, fundraising
events, and countless volunteer hours, benefiting all members of the
community, particularly those in need; and

WHEREAS, This Legislative Body acknowledges the Rotary Club of the
Town of Brewster for its remarkable contributions to the quality of life
in the region and expresses its appreciation for steadfast commitment to
the people it serves; and

WHEREAS, It is appropriate to recognize and commend the Rotary Club
of the Town of Brewster for its ongoing legacy of service, its

contributions to the betterment of society, and the remarkable 80 years
of accomplishments it has achieved to date; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
congratulate the Rotary Club of the Town of Brewster, New York, upon the
occasion of its 80th Anniversary, and to commend its members for their
remarkable service to the community and the greater good; and be it
further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to the Rotary Club of the Town of Brewster.
