HONORING Kathleen Achibar-Boyd upon the occasion
of her designation for special recognition by
Buffalo Business First

WHEREAS, Individuals who give of their time and energies and serve
the best interests of their communities are assets beyond remuneration
and cannot be sufficiently extolled; and

WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to honor Kathleen
Achibar-Boyd, upon the occasion of her designation for special
recognition, as a member of the 2025 Class of 30 Under 30, to be
recognized by Buffalo Business First at the Hyatt Regency in Buffalo,
New York, on Wednesday, April 16, 2025; and

WHEREAS, Buffalo Business First's 30 Under 30 recognizes 30 young
professionals in Western New York for their achievements and
contributions to their industries and communities; and

WHEREAS, Kathleen Achibar-Boyd is a Partner at Bolton-St. Johns LLC,
one of New York's prominent lobbying firms, located in Albany; in her
role, she represents and supports Bolton's Western New York operations
and clientele, bringing her passion for advocacy to support the firm's
strategic government relations services; and

WHEREAS, Originally from Syosset, New York, Kathleen Achibar-Boyd
takes great pride in her alma mater, the University at Buffalo; she
ambitiously embarked on her political journey in 2017; and

WHEREAS, Kathleen Achibar-Boyd serves as a valued member of the
Eleanor's Legacy Innovation Council, driving innovative initiatives for
the organization and playing an integral role in its advancement; and

WHEREAS, Throughout her career, Kathleen Achibar-Boyd has actively
participated in numerous political campaigns across Western New York,
spanning federal, state, and local levels; her impactful contributions
within the political sphere fueled her passion for government, leading
her to pursue roles as a staff member in the distinguished offices of
New York State Legislators; and

WHEREAS, Throughout the years of her community service, a period of
constructive involvement, Kathleen Achibar-Boyd has stood constant in
dignity; her advocacy empowers young individuals to engage in politics;
and

WHEREAS, Rare indeed is the impressive dedication shown by
individuals for the benefit of others which Kathleen Achibar-Boyd has
displayed throughout her life; and

WHEREAS, It has always been the objective of this Legislative Body
to honor and support those individuals who have displayed their
commitment to the betterment of their communities; and

WHEREAS, It is the intent of this Legislative Body to inscribe upon
its records this tribute to Kathleen Achibar-Boyd, that future
generations may know and appreciate her admirable character and the
respect and esteem in which she is held by her peers; now, therefore, be
it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Kathleen Achibar-Boyd upon the occasion of her designation for
special recognition by Buffalo Business First; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Kathleen Achibar-Boyd.
