COMMENDING Dr. Antoinette S. Jennings upon the
occasion of her designation for special recognition
by the National Council of Negro Women-Queens County
Section on June 8, 2025

WHEREAS, It is incumbent upon the people of the State of New York to
recognize and acknowledge those within our midst who have made
significant contributions to the quality of life therein; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to
commend Dr. Antoinette S. Jennings upon the occasion of her designation
for special recognition by the National Council of Negro Women-Queens
County Section, to be celebrated at its 37th Annual Black and White
Celebration of Honorees on Sunday, June 8, 2025, at Antun's in Queens
Village, New York; and

WHEREAS, Dr. Antoinette S. Jennings is a distinguished leader,
speaker, coach, retired police officer, New York State Chaplain, and
author, whose life's work reflects her unwavering commitment to
empowering individuals and transforming communities, both locally and
globally; and

WHEREAS, Dr. Antoinette S. Jennings served with honor for 22 years
as a member of the New York City Police Department, and now dedicates
her time to inspiring others as the Founder and Executive Director of
Leaders of the Future No Limits, a nonprofit organization focused on
uplifting and educating communities; and

WHEREAS, Despite facing the challenges of being a teenage mother,
Dr. Antoinette S. Jennings demonstrated remarkable resilience, turning
adversity into opportunity and embodying the belief that "all things
work together for good for those who love the Lord and are called
according to His purpose," inspiring countless others to overcome their
own hardships and step into their purpose; and

WHEREAS, As a committed community advocate, Dr. Antoinette S.
Jennings has initiated and led numerous impactful programs, including
Peace Walks, Christmas Giveaways, Turkey Giveaways, and the Apage Love
Feast, while partnering with local leaders to ensure essential services
reach those in need; and

WHEREAS, Dr. Antoinette S. Jennings holds a Bachelor of Arts degree
in Communication and is currently pursuing an MS in Organizational
Leadership, exemplifying her dedication to lifelong learning and
personal growth, while also mentoring young people through programs such
as the Play Street program in Harlem and the Love Over Violence
Every-time Harlem Unit; and

WHEREAS, Dr. Antoinette S. Jennings' exceptional work has been
recognized by numerous prestigious organizations, earning her
distinguished accolades such as two Presidential Volunteer Service
Awards, a Congressional Recognition Award, proclamations for her

community impact, as well as an honorary Doctorate and the title of Her
Excellency from the United Nations in 2023; and

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that when
individuals of such noble aims and accomplishments are brought to our
attention, they should be celebrated and recognized by all the citizens
of this great Empire State; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend Dr. Antoinette S. Jennings upon the occasion of her designation
for special recognition by the National Council of Negro Women-Queens
County Section; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Dr. Antoinette S. Jennings.
