COMMEMORATING the 25th Anniversary of Quanterion
Solutions Incorporated of Utica, New York

LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION commemorating the 25th Anniversary of
Quanterion Solutions Incorporated of Utica, New York

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize those
small businesses within the State of New York which contribute to the
economic health and vitality of the communities they serve; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to
commemorate the 25th Anniversary of Quanterion Solutions Incorporated of
Utica, New York; and

WHEREAS, In 2000, Quanterion Solutions Incorporated was formed in
West Utica, New York with a mission to provide high quality quantitative
engineering services to be used as criterion for critical decision
making, thus the name Quanterion was adopted; and

WHEREAS, In 2005, Quanterion relocated to the newly completed SUNY
campus; since May of 2017, the company headquarters has been in its own
building at 266 Genesee Street, Utica, across the street from the
historic Stanley Theatre; and

WHEREAS, Over the past two and a half decades, Quanterion has
expanded its technical expertise to include knowledge management,
software development and engineering, and information technology
services while still embodying reliability, maintainability and quality;
and

WHEREAS, Quanterion is very successful in its long and short term
collaborations with large and small industrial and commercial entities
as well as with educational institutions; and

WHEREAS, The range and depth of Quanterion's technical expertise has
also been clearly demonstrated through its breadth of government
technical work such as its long time leadership of the Department of
Defense Information analysis Centers, each provide a centralized
knowledge center for the user community to obtain scientific and
technical information related to specific technologies; and

WHEREAS, Quanterion's staff, consisting of primarily IT/Software
developers, engineers, and scientists, supports numerous advanced
technology programs and technical information centers for the U.S.
government and commercial customers across the country, ensuring that
they deliver solutions to solve even the most challenging technical
problems; and

WHEREAS, Since starting as a three-person company in an old mill in
West Utica, Quanterion has experienced exponential growth boasting
clients not only in New York State but also in New Mexico, Washington,
D.C., North Carolina, and Colorado; and


WHEREAS, As Quanterion reflects on 25 years of trailblazing data
analysis solutions to organizations both locally and around the world,
they are grateful to their customers, partners, supporters, and
employees for supporting the work they've done in developing,
integrating, and validating data-driven technological solutions across
each of their technical focus areas; now, therefore be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberation to
commemorate the 25th Anniversary of Quanterion Solutions Incorporated,
recognizing its exceptional analytical services and its unwavering
commitment to high quality and hard work; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Quanterion Solutions Incorporated.
