COMMENDING Revere Copper Products, Inc. upon the
occasion of celebrating its 225th Anniversary

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to honor those
businesses within the State of New York which distinguish themselves
through outstanding professional behavior, corporate innovation, and
enduring commitment to the community; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to
commend Revere Copper Products, Inc. upon the occasion of celebrating
its 225th Anniversary; and

WHEREAS, In 1801, Paul Revere, the renowned patriot and founding
father, rolled the first copper sheets in Canton, Massachusetts; the
descendants of Paul Revere remained active in the rolled copper
industry, and today, the original copper works continues as Revere
Copper Products, Inc., headquartered in Rome, New York, and is among
America's oldest manufacturing companies; and

WHEREAS, Revere Copper Products, Inc. is an employee-owned company
dedicated to serving its community with involvements in campaigns,
organizations, and events such as America's Greatest Heart Run and Walk,
the Go Red for Women Campaign, Rome Health, The Salvation Army, hospice
care initiatives, Rome Rotary Club, and the Rome Chamber of Commerce;
and

WHEREAS, The mission of Revere Copper Products, Inc. is to be the
best in the world at what it does and to take pride and enjoyment in
that work, accomplished by fully utilizing the talents of all its
employees working as a team in a safe, environmentally sound, and
ethical manner to achieve absolute customer satisfaction through
superior quality and reliability, while considering equally its
employees and shareholders, its customers, and its country; and

WHEREAS, With a commitment to the highest standards, Revere Copper
Products, Inc. proudly employs the best practices in the manufacturing
of copper sheet, strip, coil, plate and bar products, focusing on energy
savings, recycling, and chemical and water conservation; and

WHEREAS, Revere Copper Products, Inc. continuously strives to
protect the environment with regular equipment upgrades, informed water
processing steps, energy consumption consciousness, and ethical sourcing
standards; and

WHEREAS, Over the course of its long and storied history, Revere
Copper Products, Inc. has undergone name changes and has shifted its
production capabilities to match the fluctuating demand of various
products over its centuries of operation, while always remaining focused
on its core values and progressing goals; and

WHEREAS, The company's operations in Rome continue to grow, and a
new state-of-the-art facility was constructed in Mebane, North Carolina,

an electric vehicle industry hotspot, showcasing Revere Copper Products'
commitment to evolution and adaptability; the new facility began
operating in 2023, and will continue Revere Copper Products' traditions
of excellence for many generations to come; and

WHEREAS, The success of Revere Copper Products, Inc. is in direct
correlation to the efforts of its dedicated leadership and staff, whose
involvement is, and always has been, characterized by an impressive
commitment, an unbridled enthusiasm, and an uncompromising standard of
excellence in all endeavors on behalf of the businesses and the
communities they serve; and

WHEREAS, It is with great pleasure that this Legislative Body
acknowledges this exceptional business, its contributions to the local
and state economies, and its vibrant role in improving the quality of
life in its community, fully confident it will continue to enjoy the
same sparkling successes it has experienced thus far; now, therefore, be
it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
Revere Copper Products, Inc.
