Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) CHAPTER 3-B, ARTICLE 11
§ 163. Time of taking effect. This chapter shall take effect July
first, nineteen hundred thirty-four except that the state liquor
authority and the local alcoholic beverage control board may, prior to
July first, nineteen hundred thirty-four, receive and entertain such
applications for licenses or permits and take such other steps as may be
necessary or appropriate to permit this chapter to become effective and
operative on July first, nineteen hundred thirty-four.
