Eligibility for participation
Civil Service (CVS) CHAPTER 7, ARTICLE 11-A
§ 174. Eligibility for participation. 1. All persons who, as of the
effective date of this article, are or shall become eligible to
participate in the state health benefit plan established under article
eleven of this chapter, shall be eligible to participate in the long
term care insurance plan established under this article. The president
shall adopt regulations prescribing the conditions under which an
eligible individual may elect to participate in the long term care
insurance plan.
2. The president shall adopt regulations prescribing the conditions
under which an individual participating in the long term care insurance
plan may elect to withdraw from the plan.
