§ 8602. Practice of clinical laboratory technology, cytotechnology and
histotechnology and use of the titles "licensed clinical laboratory
technologist", "licensed cytotechnologist" and "licensed
histotechnologist". No person shall practice as a clinical laboratory
technologist, cytotechnologist or histotechnologist, or hold himself or
herself out as a clinical laboratory technologist, or a
cytotechnologist, or a histotechnologist in this state unless he or she
is licensed or exempt pursuant to this article.
