Savings clause

§ 11-1211. Savings clause.
If any word, clause, sentence, paragraph, section, or other part of
this title is adjudged by any court of competent jurisdiction to be
invalid, such judgment shall not affect, impair, or invalidate the
remainder of this title, but shall be confined in its operation to the
word, clause, sentence, paragraph, section, or other part thereof,
directly involved in the controversy in which such judgment is rendered.
If any word, clause, sentence, paragraph, section, or other part of
