    SECTION 13-0310

    Northern or lined seahorses; prohibited acts

    Environmental Conservation (ENV) CHAPTER 43-B, ARTICLE 13, TITLE 3

    § 13-0310. Northern or lined seahorses; prohibited acts.

    1. No person shall take any northern or lined seahorse (Hippocampus
    erectus) for commercial purposes.

    2. The provisions of subdivision one of this section shall not apply
    to the taking of seahorses for scientific or educational purposes
    including, but not limited to, public or not-for-profit zoos and
    aquariums, as determined by the commissioner.
