    SECTION 5-1107

    Written assignment

    General Obligations (GOB) CHAPTER 24-A, ARTICLE 5, TITLE 11

    § 5-1107. Written assignment. An assignment shall not be denied the
    effect of irrevocably transferring the assignor's rights because of the
    absence of consideration, if such assignment is in writing and signed by
    the assignor, or by his agent.
