Civil service status of employees
Public Authorities (PBA) CHAPTER 43-A, ARTICLE 8, TITLE 14
* § 2056. Civil service status of employees. The appointment and
promotion of all employees of the authority shall be made in accordance
with the provisions of the civil service law and the rules of the Broome
county civil service commission, and such employees shall be entitled to
membership in the county pension and retirement system, and shall be
entitled to the same rights and obligations thereunder as the employees
of the county.
* NB Authority dissolved September 1, 1977
