    SECTION 1116

    Application for letters; when court may direct probate 1

    Surrogate's Court Procedure Act (SCP) CHAPTER 59-A, ARTICLE 11

    § 1116. Application for letters; when court may direct probate

    1. The public administrator is authorized to apply for and receive
    letters as defined in this act.

    2. The court may direct the public administration to present a
    petition for probate of a will at any time after it is filed.
