    Obligation of Good Faith

    Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) CHAPTER 38, ARTICLE 1, PART 3

    Section 1--304. Obligation of Good Faith.

    Every contract or duty within this act imposes an obligation of good
    faith in its performance and enforcement.
