    SECTION 11-101

    Definitions

    Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) CHAPTER 38, ARTICLE 11

    Section 11--101. Definitions.

    As used in this Article 11:

    (a) The term "Original Article 9" means Article 9 of the uniform
    commercial code as enacted by chapter five hundred fifty-three of the
    laws of nineteen hundred sixty-two and as amended by chapter eight
    hundred ninety-nine of the laws of nineteen hundred seventy.

    (b) The term "Revised Article 9" means Article 9 of the uniform
    commercial code as amended by the act enacting this Article.
