§ 1501. Execution; when and how issued.
An execution upon a judgment may be issued by the judgment-creditor's
attorney or, if he does not appear by attorney, by the clerk of the
court. It shall be issued within the time prescribed by law applicable
in the supreme court. But no execution shall issue out of this court
after a transcript has been issued.
A "judgment", as used in this article, shall be deemed to include an
order directing the payment of money.
