Uniform Justice Court Act (UJC) CHAPTER 898, ARTICLE 8
§ 801. Provisional remedies; procedure.
Practice and procedure for the requisition to seize a chattel, when
requisition is allowed by § 209 of this act, shall be governed, insofar
as consistent with this act, by the CPLR, subject to the following:
(a) The chattel may be seized only within the county.
(b) When a return is required, the return shall be made to the clerk
of this court.
