LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring Eliyahu Schreier upon the occasion of
being named the 2009 First Baby of the Year by BELLMORE LIFE
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to honor those
distinct occasions that bring merriment, joy, and the promise of a
bright future to the citizens of New York State; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor
Eliyahu Schreier upon the occasion of being named 2009 First Baby of the
Year by BELLMORE LIFE; and
WHEREAS, BELLMORE LIFE's First Baby of the Year Contest winner is a
boy named Eliyahu Schreier who was born to his blissful parents, Yaffa
and Rabbi Dov Schreier, of Bellmore, New York, at 10:39PM on Thursday,
January 1, 2009; and
WHEREAS, The sixth child of the Schreiers, little Eliyahu was welcomed
home by his older siblings, Shoshana, Yaakov, Asher, Yaol and Miriam;
the happy family will forever remember this momentous occasion; and
WHEREAS, With the birth of Eliyahu Schreier and all newborns comes the
duty of all citizens of New York State and our Nation to guide these
children with love and compassion, enabling them to develop the skills
necessary to lead our future generations into the 22nd Century; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Eliyahu Schreier upon the occasion of being named 2009 First Baby
of the Year by BELLMORE LIFE, and to wish him a healthy and fulfilled
life, overflowing with love and happiness; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to the Schreier Family.
