LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring Celeste Ildebrando upon the occasion of
her retirement from PS 127

WHEREAS, This Legislative Body seeks to acknowledge those individuals
whose professional lives and civic endeavors serve to enhance the stat-
ure of the State of New York; and
WHEREAS, Celeste Ildebrando rendered faithful, conscientious and valu-
able service to PS 127; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor
Celeste Ildebrando upon the occasion of her retirement from PS 127, to
be celebrated on Friday, June 18, 2010; and
WHEREAS, In her capacity as school secretary, Celeste Ildebrando
served with loyalty, honor and distinction; and
WHEREAS, Celeste Ildebrando became a paraprofessional at PS 204 from
1985-1986; from 1986-1989, she served as a paraprofessional for PS 163;
and
WHEREAS, In 1989, Celeste Ildebrando earned her School Secretary
License in order to work for the District 20 Office as Secretary to
Superintendent Ralph Fabrizio; in November of 1993 she left District 20
to work as School Secretary at PS 314; and
WHEREAS, Since September of 1993, Celeste Ildebrando has served as the
School Secretary for PS 127, a position from which she is retiring; and
WHEREAS, In her official acts, Celeste Ildebrando was governed by a
keen sense of duty and always showed a unique grasp of human problems;
and
WHEREAS, During her tenure at PS 127, Celeste Ildebrando earned the
admiration, esteem and affection of her colleagues; now, therefore, be
it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Celeste Ildebrando upon the occasion of her retirement from PS
127; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Celeste Ildebrando.
