LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring Lynne Freda upon the occasion of her
designation for special recognition by the Callicoon Business Associ-
ation

WHEREAS, Individuals who give of their time and energies and serve the
best interests of their communities are an asset beyond remuneration and
cannot be sufficiently extolled; and
WHEREAS, Lynne Freda has given not only of her time and energies but
also of her competence, intelligence and leadership and consequently has
been designated for special honor; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor
Lynne Freda upon the occasion of her designation for special recognition
by the Callicoon Business Association; and
WHEREAS, Lynne Freda grew up around the real estate business, and
spent her formative years in the Upper Delaware Catskills, but headed
south to Florida for college; after 26 years in the Sunshine State, she
came back to her hometown, working in the agency started by her dad,
Matthew J. Freda, and continued by her brother Tom, who is the broker,
and brother Joe, associate broker; and
WHEREAS, Lynne Freda is a licensed real estate salesperson in both New
York and Pennsylvania; she is a member of the National Association of
Realtors, the Sullivan County Board of Realtors, the Sullivan County
(NY) Multiple Listing Service, the Pike-Wayne (PA) Board of Realtors and
the Pike-Wayne MLS; and
WHEREAS, Lynne Freda also serves as President of the Callicoon Busi-
ness Association, and sits on the Damascus Township Zoning Hearing
Board; in the past, she worked in television news in the Tampa, Florida
area as an executive producer; and
WHEREAS, With her throughout has been her daughter, Casey, who feels
privileged to be a part of her life and rejoices in her achievements;
and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the life in their community and have shown a long and sustained
commitment to excellence certainly have earned recognition and applause;
now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Lynne Freda upon the occasion of her designation for special
recognition by the Callicoon Business Association; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Lynne Freda.
