LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION commending Crystal Run Healthcare upon the occa-
sion of its designation for special honor by the Hospice of
Orange/Sullivan Counties, Inc. at its Annual Spring Gala, The Butterfly
Ball, on March 28, 2009

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to commend those
illustrious organizations within the State of New York whose focus and
intent have made a substantial impact on the quality of life in their
communities; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to commend
Crystal Run Healthcare upon the occasion of its designation for special
honor by the Hospice of Orange/Sullivan Counties, Inc. at its Annual
Spring Gala, The Butterfly Ball, on March 28, 2009; and
WHEREAS, Motivated by a desire to improve health care in the region
and to reestablish a role for dedicated physicians in helping to guide
the future of health care, Dr. Hal Teitelbaum began laying the ground-
work for the establishment of Crystal Run Healthcare in 1994; and
WHEREAS, Today, Dr. Hal Teitelbaum continues to serve as the CEO and
Managing Partner of Crystal Run Healthcare, now the fastest growing
medical practice in the State of New York, offering over 30 medical
specialties with multiple locations throughout Orange and Sullivan Coun-
ties; and
WHEREAS, A multi-specialty medical practice which emphasizes excep-
tional quality and service excellence, Crystal Run Healthcare offers one
of the most technically advanced health care environments in the country
and has attracted an academically credentialed staff of more than 150
world-class physicians; and
WHEREAS, Crystal Run Healthcare has a strong commitment to primary
care, with physicians representing the specialties of Internal Medicine,
Obstetrics/Gynecology, Family Practice and Pediatrics; it also includes
unsurpassed sub-specialists who have trained, worked and taught at some
of the most highly respected medical centers and universities in the
nation; and
WHEREAS, In addition, Crystal Run Healthcare offers fully accredited,
all-digital radiology and laboratory services which are second to none,
and is among a few medical practices nationwide utilizing electronic
health records, a ground breaking tool to identify patients at risk,
reduce error and enhance communication within the health care team; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that when organiza-
tions of such noble aims and accomplishments are brought to our atten-
tion, they should be celebrated and recognized by all the citizens of
the great State of New York; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend Crystal Run Healthcare upon the occasion of its designation for
special honor by the Hospice of Orange/Sullivan Counties, Inc. at its
Annual Spring Gala, The Butterfly Ball, on March 28, 2009; and be it
further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Crystal Run Healthcare.
