LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION commemorating the 50th Anniversary of Cloverbank
Elementary School, Hamburg, New York

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize and
commend those institutions of true purpose and high achievement whose
exemplary programs and accomplishments clearly demonstrate the pursuit
of excellence in education and service to the community; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to commem-
orate the 50th Anniversary of Cloverbank Elementary School, Hamburg, New
York, to be celebrated on Wednesday, September 9, 2009, with a ceremony
on the front lawn of the school observing this auspicious event; and
WHEREAS, In September of 1959, Cloverbank Elementary School, within
the Frontier Central School District, opened its doors to students and
began a proud history of educating students who would become life-long
learners; and
WHEREAS, The steadfast and unyielding commitment of parents, educators
and administrators to provide the highest quality education for students
is the hallmark and tradition of Cloverbank Elementary School; and
WHEREAS, Under the luminous direction of Principal Linda A. Marszalek,
the administration at Cloverbank Elementary School has fostered a learn-
ing environment which promotes the maximum growth of every student,
enabling each of them to develop the vital skills necessary to succeed
throughout their later school years; and
WHEREAS, Cloverbank Elementary School, where learning and fun become
one, is proudly aware of its distinguished past, eager to fulfill its
present commitment to parents, students and the community, and planning
with vision and purpose for the ebb and swell of growth and change it
will encounter in the years to come; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commemorate the 50th Anniversary of Cloverbank Elementary School,
Hamburg, New York; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Linda A. Marszalek, Principal of Cloverbank Elementary
School, 2761 Cloverbank Road, Hamburg, New York 14075.
