LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION congratulating Edward Plummer upon the occasion
of his graduation from the Fedcap Vocational Training Program

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize and
commend those vocational institutions which have achieved many honors
and brought pride and honor to our Nation through their traditions of
academic excellence; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to act, honoring the
leaders of tomorrow, whose character and achievements exemplify the
ideals and values cherished by this great State and Nation; and
WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to congratulate Edward
Plummer upon the occasion of his graduation from the Fedcap Vocational
Training Program in Culinary Arts on Thursday, June 25, 2009; and
WHEREAS, Fedcap offers job training and placement to people with disa-
bilities and other barriers to employment, providing jobs for individ-
uals and a diverse, reliable workforce for organizations; and
WHEREAS, A true asset to society, Edward Plummer's remarkable academic
accomplishment warrants the recognition and commendation of this Legis-
lative Body; and
WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is moved to honor this able scholar,
recognizing the value of his labors and the promise of his future; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
congratulate Edward Plummer upon the occasion of his graduation from the
Fedcap Vocational Training Program in Culinary Arts and to extend to him
the best wishes of this Legislative Body for a future of purposeful
success and well-being, fully confident of his response to the chal-
lenges of a promising future and appreciative of the model he represents
for aspiring individuals; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Edward Plummer.
