LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring the Country Club Auto Group upon the
occasion of its designation as recipient of the NBT Bank Distinguished
Business Award by the Otsego County Chamber of Commerce

WHEREAS, it is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize that the
quality and character of life in the communities across New York State
are reflective of the concerned and dedicated efforts of those organiza-
tions and individuals that are devoted to the welfare of the community
and its citizenry; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor the
Country Club Auto Group upon the occasion of its designation as recipi-
ent of the NBT Bank Distinguished Business Award by the Otsego County
Chamber of Commerce; this auspicious occasion will be celebrated at the
Chamber's Annual Banquet and Celebration of Business, to be held on
Saturday, April 16, 2011, in the Hunt Union Ballroom on the SUNY Oneonta
Campus; and
WHEREAS, A long time member of the Otsego County Chamber of Commerce,
the Country Club Auto Group under the exceptional leadership of partners
Tom Armao and Scott Davis is proud of its efforts to make Otsego County
a better place to live and raise a family; and
WHEREAS, Honored to be a part of a great community, the Country Club
Auto Group places its foremost concern on taking care of the customer
and providing support throughout the life of the automobiles it sells;
the Group has established the ideal environment to satisfy the transpor-
tation needs of Otsego County; and
WHEREAS, In the business of selling and servicing automobiles for over
30 years, the Country Club Auto Group has satisfied generations of Otse-
go County families who have made the Group their first choice; and
WHEREAS, The Country Club Auto Group has had a positive impact on the
quality of life in Otsego County; the group believes in supporting the
community that supports it; the dedication of the Group to the community
is known far and wide; and
WHEREAS, This auspicious occasion presents an opportunity for this
Legislative Body to recognize and pay tribute to the Country Club Auto
Group; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that when an organ-
ization of such noble aims and accomplishments is brought to our atten-
tion, it should be recognized and applauded by all the citizens of this
great Empire State; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor the Country Club Auto Group upon the occasion of its designation
as recipient of the NBT Bank Distinguished Business Award by the Otsego
County Chamber of Commerce; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to the Country Club Auto Group.
