LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION commending North Country Savings Bank of Canton,
New York, upon the occasion of its designation as a 2011 Best Companies
to Work for in New York State

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that the quality and
character of life in this great Empire State is indelibly enriched by
the faithful efforts of those financial institutions and their leader-
ship who devote their purpose to promoting economic vitality and service
the public need; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to commend
North Country Savings Bank of Canton, New York, upon the occasion of its
designation as a 2011 Best Companies to Work for in New York State; and
WHEREAS, This most auspicious event was held at the Best Companies to
Work for in New York State Awards Dinner on Thursday, May 5, 2011 at the
Albany Marriott in Albany, New York; and
WHEREAS, 50 companies have recently been designated the Best Companies
to Work for in New York for 2011; this fourth annual statewide survey
and awards program identifies and recognizes the best places of employ-
ment in the State of New York; these organizations are examples that
happy employees make for good business and drive the Empire State's
economy; and
WHEREAS, The success of North Country Savings Bank is due, in large
part, to the efforts of its skilled leaders and dedicated staff, who
deliver the exceptional service it has come to be known for, and are
always striving to look for ways to better serve its members; and
WHEREAS, This Legislative Body looks favorably upon the strong role
which institutions such as North Country Savings Bank play in strength-
ening the social and economic fabric of our communities through provid-
ing growth opportunities for citizens and businesses; now, therefore, be
it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend North Country Savings Bank of Canton, New York, upon the occa-
sion of its designation as a 2011 Best Companies to Work for in New York
State, and to wish this financial institution continued success in its
vital work on behalf of its customers; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to North Country Savings Bank, Canton, New York.
