LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring Dr. David Sukoff, DDS upon the occasion
of his designation as recipient of the Professional of the Year Award by
the Merrick Chamber of Commerce

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize that the
quality and character of life in the communities across New York State
are enhanced by the concerned and dedicated efforts of business organ-
izations and individuals that generously contribute to the welfare of
the community and its citizenry; and
WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to honor Dr. David
Sukoff, DDS upon the occasion of his designation as recipient of the
Professional of the Year Award by the Merrick Chamber of Commerce to be
celebrated at RS Jones Restaurant in Merrick, New York, on Monday, June
6, 2011; and
WHEREAS, Dr. David Sukoff is the successful business owner of Sukoff
Orthodontics; he is an expert orthodontist bringing high-tech treatment
to Merrick, New York, with one goal, to make orthodontic care something
to truly smile about; and
WHEREAS, Orthodontic treatment is important for all ages and each
patient is unique; because of this, Dr. David Sukoff offers a wide range
of orthodontic care for both children and adults to help customize
personal treatments; in addition to traditional braces for adults and
children, he also specializes in clear braces and Invisalign invisible
braces; and
WHEREAS, Throughout the entire period of his professional and communi-
ty service, a period of constructive involvement, Dr. David Sukoff has
stood constant in dignity, good grace and humor, and has earned the
respect and admiration of his colleagues, family and friends; and
WHEREAS, Dr. David Sukoff has distinguished himself in his career and
community involvement, and the community has profited greatly from his
dedication and service; and
WHEREAS, Rare indeed is the impressive dedication shown by an individ-
ual for the benefit of others which Dr. David Sukoff has displayed
throughout his life; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the well-being and vitality of their community and have shown a
long and sustained commitment to excellence certainly have earned the
recognition and applause of all the citizens of this great Empire State;
now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Dr. David Sukoff, upon the occasion of his designation as recipi-
ent of the Professional of the Year Award by the Merrick Chamber of
Commerce; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Dr. David Sukoff, DDS.
