LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring Ryan Tatlock upon his induction into the
Amsterdam Mohawks Hall of Fame

WHEREAS, The State of New York takes great pride in acknowledging the
outstanding achievements of its esteemed and talented athletes; and
WHEREAS, Ryan Tatlock will be inducted into the Amsterdam Mohawks Hall
of Fame during a dinner to be held at St. Mary's Institute on February
4, 2012; and
WHEREAS, Ryan excelled in baseball at an early age, and was nicknamed
"The Terminator" by the AMSTERDAM RECORDER for a 20 strikeout perform-
ance in Little League; and
WHEREAS, At Amsterdam High School, he hit 20 home runs during his
career and was named team MVP and Silver Slugger winner; and
WHEREAS, Ryan is an Empire State Games bronze medalist; and
WHEREAS, He was a First Team All-American and hit .421 as a third
baseman for Schenectady Community College; and
WHEREAS, Ryan was a member of the Mohawks team that won back-to-back
championships in 2003 and 2004; in 2003, he went 7-0 with a 1.29 ERA,
and pitched a one-hitter in Game 1 of the playoffs; and
WHEREAS, He is currently a supervisor at FedEx; and
WHEREAS, Ryan and his loving wife, Kara, are the proud parents of
Emery Tatlock; and
WHEREAS, His athletic ability and outstanding sportsmanship are an
inspiration to current Mohawks players; and
WHEREAS, His induction into the Amsterdam Mohawks Hall of Fame is a
fitting and lasting tribute to his extraordinary legacy; now, therefore,
be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Ryan Tatlock upon his well-deserved induction into the Amsterdam
Mohawks Hall of Fame; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Ryan Tatlock.
