LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring Timothy Friedmann upon the occasion of
his designation as the recipient of the Jill Goodman Award for Outstand-
ing Community Service by the Rotary Club of Chappaqua

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize and pay
tribute to those young people within the great Empire State who have
made strong contributions to their communities and who serve as role
models for their peers; and
WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to honor Timothy Fried-
mann upon the occasion of his designation as the recipient of the Jill
Goodman Award for Outstanding Community Service by the Rotary Club of
Chappaqua, to be celebrated on January 29, 2011; and
WHEREAS, The Jill Goodman Award for Outstanding Community Service is
for a senior high school student at Horace Greeley High School, who
follows the Rotary's mission of "Service Above Self"; and
WHEREAS, Timothy Friedmann's dedicated community service volunteer
work, includes: two-year volunteer with the Chappaqua Volunteer Ambu-
lance Corp., CVAC; member and active volunteer of Horace Greeley High
School's Silent Earth Club, an environmentally conscious student organ-
ization; and a member of the Horace Greeley High School Model United
Nations Club; and
WHEREAS, Currently enrolled in EMT classes, Timothy Friedmann is
aspiring to become an emergency room physician; his distinguished record
merits the recognition and respectful tribute of this Legislative Body;
now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Timothy Friedmann upon the occasion of his designation as the
recipient of the Jill Goodman Award for Outstanding Community Service by
the Rotary Club of Chappaqua; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Timothy Friedmann.
