LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring the 2012 graduates of the Great Neck
Adult Learning Center

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to take note of and
publicly acknowledge individuals who have distinguished themselves
through their exemplary pursuit of education as adults; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor the
2012 graduates of the Great Neck Adult Learning Center, who will be
graduating on Thursday, June 14, 2012; and
WHEREAS, Showing remarkable perseverance to continue their studies,
this year's graduates have displayed the courage and determination to
achieve, serving as an inspiration to us all; and
WHEREAS, The 2012 Great Neck Adult Learning Center graduates are:
Myriam Bradshaw, William Corradini, Isabel Cruz, Ariel Darvish, Merima
Kolenovic, I. Hua Chang, Pancy Chung, Jose Diaz, William Erdogan, Jose
Espinoza, Seham Etouni, Ka Fung Ho, Jessica Jattan, Yukiko Koizumi,
Patrycja Krawczuk, Guangfeng Luo, Jianhong Ma, Natalia Mancilla, Maira
Martinez, Rainier Mohammed, Stephanie Nolan, Ricardo Pereira, Mayra
Perez, Daniela Peterson, Vanessa Policastro, Jasmin Renke, Vanessa Rome-
ro, Mihaela Susnea, Barbara Zareba, and Jian Jian Zeng; and
WHEREAS, This Legislative Body proudly honors these remarkable indi-
viduals in recognition of their dedication, perseverance and fortitude;
and
WHEREAS, The 2012 graduates of the Great Neck Adult Learning Center
may now stand with just pride in assessing their achievements, experi-
encing the satisfaction of their labors and the joy of their accomplish-
ments, eager to face the challenge of new ventures; now, therefore, be
it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor the 2012 graduates of the Great Neck Adult Learning Center; and be
it further
RESOLVED, That copies of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to the aforementioned graduates of the Great Neck Adult Learning
Center.
