LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring Paul Justinger upon the occasion of his
designation as recipient of the Citizen of the Year Award from the
Clarence Chamber of Commerce

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize that the
quality and character of life in the communities across New York State
are reflective of the concerned and dedicated efforts of those individ-
uals who would devote themselves to the welfare of the community and its
citizenry; and
WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to honor Paul Justinger
upon the occasion of his designation as recipient of the Citizen of the
Year Award from the Clarence Chamber of Commerce, to be celebrated at
its Annual Awards Dinner on Thursday, February 24, 2011; and
WHEREAS, Originally from South Buffalo, New York, and a graduate of
South Park High School and Empire State College, Paul Justinger began
his insurance business on Main Street in Clarence in 1986 and has since
relocated; and
WHEREAS, Paul Justinger and his son, Paul, are business partners at
Nickel City Insurance Company in Lancaster; and
WHEREAS, A member of the Clarence Rotary Club, Paul Justinger is
affiliated with Adopt-a-Highway and the Clarence Chamber of Commerce; he
served as a board member for 10 years and was its President from 1995 to
1997; and
WHEREAS, A member of the Clarence Newstead Meals-on-Wheels program for
18 years, Paul Justinger serves on the Executive Board of Directors for
the Lancaster High School Academy of Finance, and has been a Clarence
Middle School mentor for 10 years; in addition, he serves on the Board
of the Insurance Club of Buffalo; and
WHEREAS, In addition to his son, Paul, with him through have been his
wife, Teresa, daughter, Kristie, as well as his granddaughter, Brianna,
all of whom feel privileged to be a part of his life and rejoice in his
achievements; and
WHEREAS, Paul Justinger's distinguished record merits the recognition
and respectful tribute of this Legislative Body; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Paul Justinger upon the occasion of his designation as recipient
of the Citizen of the Year Award from the Clarence Chamber of Commerce;
and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed be trans-
mitted to Paul Justinger.
