SENATE RESOLUTION providing for the election of Dean G. Skelos and
Jeffrey D. Klein as alternating Temporary President of the Senate for
the years 2013-2014

RESOLVED, That Senator Jeffrey D. Klein be, and he hereby is, elected
Temporary President of the Senate to serve alternating terms commencing
January 9, 2013 and ending at the conclusion of such day, and continuing
for the years 2013-2014 in accordance with the schedule annexed hereto;
and be it further
RESOLVED, That Senator Dean G. Skelos be, and he hereby is elected
Temporary President of the Senate to serve alternating terms commencing
on January 10, 2013 and ending at the conclusion of such day and contin-
uing for the years 2013-2014 in accordance with the schedule annexed
hereto; and be it further
RESOLVED, That should the Senate be in Session past midnight on any
day concluding a term of the Temporary President of the Senate, such
Temporary President of the Senate on that legislative day shall remain
Temporary President of the Senate until the Senate shall adjourn that
legislative session day, at no time shall there be more than one Tempo-
rary President serving simultaneously; and be it further
RESOLVED, That Senator Dean G. Skelos and Senator Jeffrey D. Klein may
jointly promulgate any agreed upon modification to the schedule and they
shall notify the Secretary of the Senate, in writing, of such modifica-
tion.
