LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring Lowe's upon the occasion of its desig-
nation as recipient of the Dedication to Youth Award by the Boys and
Girls Club of Albany

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize that the
quality and character of life in the communities across New York State
are reflective of the concerned and dedicated efforts of those organiza-
tions and individuals who would devote themselves to the welfare of the
community and its citizenry; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor
Lowe's upon the occasion of its designation as recipient of the Dedi-
cation to Youth Award by the Boys and Girls Club of Albany; this momen-
tous occasion was celebrated at its 8th Annual Red, White and Chocolate
Benefit on Thursday, November 19, 2015; and
WHEREAS, Lowe's has been called upon to contribute its time and
talents to countless civic and charitable endeavors and has always given
of themselves unstintingly; and
WHEREAS, The managers, administration and staff from nine different
Lowe's locations donated their time and energies to remodel eight
program rooms at the Boys and Girls Clubs of Albany, New York; and
WHEREAS, The Boys and Girls Clubs of Albany found their experience
with working alongside Lowe's to be above satisfactory, and saw the
staff go above and beyond for their vital organization; the Lowe's
managers displayed a positive attitude throughout the project which
resulted in an enjoyable atmosphere for all; and
WHEREAS, With a steadfast and unremitting dedication to help those in
need, Lowe's has exceeded expectation and was instrumental in making a
lasting impact on its local community; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that when individ-
uals and organizations of such noble aims and accomplishments are
brought to our attention, they should be celebrated and recognized by
all the citizens of this great Empire State; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Lowe's upon the occasion of their designation as recipients of the
Dedication to Youth Award by the Boys and Girls Club of Albany; and be
it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Lowe's.
