HONORING Judith Sustack upon the occasion of her
retirement after 32 years of dedicated service to
the Middletown School District

WHEREAS, It is the practice of this Legislative Body to take note of
and publicly acknowledge individuals of remarkable integrity and
character whose endeavors have enhanced the quality of education in this
great State; and

WHEREAS, The result of many individual efforts, the excellence and
the success of the Middletown School District is due in large part to
the efforts of Judith Sustack; and

WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to honor Judith
Sustack upon the occasion of her retirement after 32 years of dedicated
service to the Middletown School District, to be celebrated with a
Surprise Retirement Party on Sunday, July 29, 2018, at The Eagle's Nest,
Bloomingburg, New York; and

WHEREAS, A true inspiration and mentor, Judith Sustack served the
Middletown School District for more than three decades; and

WHEREAS, Throughout her illustrious tenure with the District, Judith
Sustack has always gone above and beyond her duties; affectionately
known by many as "Momma Jude," she has truly devoted most of her life to
helping others; and

WHEREAS, A knowledgeable and highly skilled woman, Judith Sustack
has improved the quality of education at the Middletown School District
by leading and supporting staff with enthusiasm, cultivating a positive
and stimulating school environment, and creating a greater sense of
community; and

WHEREAS, Judith Sustack has continually demonstrated an impressive
dedication, an unparalleled devotion and an unremitting enthusiasm for
the quality of the educational programs and opportunities offered at the
Middletown School District for the benefit of its faculty and students,
as well as for the entire community; and

WHEREAS, A caring, competent and committed leader, Judith Sustack's
character and integrity are the hallmarks of her life and work as an
administrator, a community volunteer and as a person; and

WHEREAS, With her throughout have been her husband, Joe, as well as
three children, Joseph, Jason and Jessica, and five grandchildren, Ava,
Michael, Morgan, Lila and Peyton, who have all shown her love and
support and rejoice in her many achievements; and

WHEREAS, In completing her service as Office Manager, Judith Sustack
leaves behind more than mere bricks and mortar; she leaves behind a
legacy to the students of Middletown School District and to the
residents of the Middletown community; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Judith Sustack upon the occasion of her retirement, and to wish
her continued success in all her future endeavors; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Judith Sustack.
