CONGRATULATING Joann Vazquez upon the occasion of
her retirement after 40 years of distinguished
service to Farmingdale Baseball League, Inc.

WHEREAS, This Legislative Body seeks to acknowledge those
individuals whose professional lives and civic endeavors serve to
enhance the stature of the State of New York; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to
congratulate Joann Vazquez upon the occasion of her retirement after 40
years of distinguished service to Farmingdale Baseball League, Inc.; and

WHEREAS, To celebrate this momentous milestone, Joann Vazquez will
serve as the Grand Marshal for the annual Farmingdale Baseball League
2022 Season Opening Parade on Sunday, April 24, 2022; she will lead the
parade which runs from Main Street to Allen Park with the boys and girls
in their uniforms; and

WHEREAS, For the past 40 years, Joann Vazquez rendered faithful,
conscientious and valuable service to the Farmingdale Baseball League;
and

WHEREAS, In her capacity as President, Joann Vazquez served with
loyalty, honor and distinction; and

WHEREAS, In her official acts, Joann Vazquez was governed by a keen
sense of duty and always showed a unique grasp of human problems; and

WHEREAS, During her tenure with the Farmingdale Baseball League,
Joann Vazquez earned the admiration, esteem and affection of her
colleagues; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
congratulate Joann Vazquez upon the occasion of her retirement after 40
years of distinguished service to Farmingdale Baseball League, Inc.; and
be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Joann Vazquez.
