Senator Leibell Delivers $10,000 to the Astor Early Childhood Center

Senator Vincent L. Leibell and Assemblyman Marcus Molinaro secured funding for the Astor Early Childhood Center which has branches throughout the Mid-Hudson Valley and provides programs for young children with behavioral and emotional problems.

This funding will enable the Millerton branch to make necessary safety improvements to its facility. Additionally, observation mirrors will be installed in the classrooms so that parents may watch their children without distracting them.

Senator Leibell was pleased to procure this important grant, and stated, "Our interest in Dutchess County is to improve the capacity of the county. Astor is part of that, and it is critical that all of our children get the quality education that they need."
