Ortt Kicks Off Orleans County Fair, Remembers Army Spc. Johnston

Senator Ortt and Assemblyman Hawley kicked off the Orleans County Fair with an opening ceremony Monday, but did so with a heavy heart. They took a few minutes to reflect on a comrade who lost his life while fighting in Afghanistan. Army Spc. Jason Johnston died in 2009. The Senator and Assemblyman presented his mother, Jeanine, with a proclamation in her son’s honor.
