Brooks Welcomes Rev. Thomas F. Boyd, Pastor of Massapequa Park Church of the Nazarene To Deliver Senate Invocation

State Senator John Brooks (SD-8) welcomed Reverend Thomas F. Boyd, of the Massapequa Park Church of the Nazarene, to the Senate Chamber, where he delivered the invocation on Tuesday afternoon, June 6th.

“Churches are the cornerstones of our communities,” said Senator Brooks.  “Pastor Boyd is highly respected throughout the Massapequa Park community as both a community and spiritual leader.  It was truly an honor to welcome him to the Capitol.”

Rev. Boyd has served as the pastor of the Massapequa Park Church of the Nazarene since 1993, and during that time has made an incredible impact on his parishioners and the greater community.

After delivering the invocation, Rev. Boyd said, “It is an honor and a joy to deliver today’s invocation. I thank Senator Brooks for inviting me and welcoming me to the Capitol.”

Reverend Thomas F. Boyd has served as the pastor of the Massapequa Park Church of the Nazarene since 1993, and during that time has made an incredible impact on his parishioners and the greater community.  He is a graduate of Nazarene Bible College, Colorado Springs, Colorado and served as a missionary on the American Indian field working with Native Americans in Arizona. Before being called to ministry, he was a building contractor. He lives in Massapequa Park with his wife Jane, and is the proud father of two children.
