O'Mara and Palmesano help celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Schuyler County Farm Bureau

As the Farm Bureau and Cornell Cooperative Extension of Schuyler County celebrate their 100th Anniversary, they stand in fulfillment of the proud legacy of their namesake and are poised for success for many years to come.

Burdett, N.Y., July 20--State Senator Tom O'Mara and Assemblyman Phil Palmesano will help celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Schuyler County Farm Bureau at the bureau's annual picnic later today.

O'Mara and Palmesano sponsored a Legislative Resolution this year honoring the landmark anniversary of both the Schuyler County Farm Bureau and Cornell Cooperative Extension of Schuyler County.  The Resolution was unanimously approved by the state Senate and Assembly.

It reads, in part, "It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize and applaud the leaders of commerce and industry, as well as educational institutions, whose accomplishments contribute to the economic health and prosperity of the communities of the State of New York and to the quality of life of its people...As the Farm Bureau and Cornell Cooperative Extension of Schuyler County celebrate their 100th Anniversary, they stand in fulfillment of the proud legacy of their namesake and are poised for success for many years to come."
