Senator O'Mara joins state and local leaders in Corning to help welcome the new Hilton Garden Inn

The completion of the Corning Hilton Garden Inn represents another vital foundation for the redevelopment of the city of Corning’s Northside, as well as the ongoing, overall revitalization of Corning’s downtown.

Corning, N.Y., August 2--State Senator Tom O'Mara (R,C,I-Big Flats) today joined state and local leaders for the official Grand Opening of the new Hilton Garden Inn in downtown Corning.

O’Mara said, "I have been grateful to help support and advance this critical economic development project. The completion of the Corning Hilton Garden Inn represents another vital foundation for the redevelopment of the city of Corning’s Northside, as well as the ongoing, overall revitalization of Corning’s downtown. This particular site is nearby one of New York State’s premier attractions, the Corning Museum of Glass, which already attracts more than 500,000 visitors annually to the Southern Tier and Finger Lakes regions and provides an enormous economic spin-off benefit to other regional attractions and small businesses. The Corning Hilton Garden Inn will enhance and strengthen this bright spot on the regional and statewide economies."
