Albany, N.Y., March 26—State Senator Tom O’Mara (R,C,I-Big Flats), a past chair and current member of the Senate Environmental Conservation Committee, recently addressed the annual meeting of the New York State Outdoor Guides Association (NYSOGA).

“I appreciated having the opportunity to join the New York State Outdoor Guides Association and share some idea about the future of conservation and environmental protection in New York State.  I enjoyed their hospitality and, most importantly, welcomed the chance to thank the membership for what has long been an incredible commitment to conserving, protecting, and promoting New York State’s land, water, wildlife, and other natural resources,” said O’Mara, who chaired the Senate Environmental Conservation Committee from 2015 until earlier this year.

Originally founded in 1891, NYSOGA was reorganized in 1981 and represents guides from every region of the state.
