Senator O'Mara, joined by his wife Marilyn, was sworn in this week to begin a new term representing New York's 58th Senate District.
The communities and citizens comprising the 58th District share common strengths and goals. I look forward to working with all of you to be a strong voice in Albany, and to keep fighting to secure our priorities for stronger and safer communities.

Albany, N.Y., January 6—State Senator Tom O’Mara (R,C-Big Flats) took the Oath of Office at the State Capitol this week to begin the 2023-2024 state legislative session representing New York’s 58th Senate District.

Following last year’s legislative redistricting process, O’Mara represents the newly redesignated 58th Senate District comprised of Chemung, Schuyler, Seneca, Tioga, and Yates counties, and eastern half of Allegany County (the towns of Alfred, Almond, Amity, Andover, Birdsall, Burns, Grove, Independence, Scio, Ward, Wellsville, and Willing).

O’Mara was sworn in for the new term on Wednesday, January 4, in the State Senate Chamber on the opening day of the new legislative session. The senator was joined by his wife, Marilyn. Watch HERE.
