On May 21st, Senator Serrano joined fellow lawmakers at the New York State Black, Puerto Rican, Hispanic, and Asian (BPHA) Legislative Caucus meeting to celebrate the significant achievements outlined in the enacted budget for fiscal years 2025-2026. This year's state budget, totaling over $200 billion, included vital investments aimed at addressing pressing community needs, such as education funding, public health initiatives, and infrastructure improvements. These allocations are designed to enhance the quality of life for all New Yorkers, especially those in underserved communities.
