Kril Inducted Into Senate Veterans’ Hall Of Fame

The Queens Gazette posted an article about Senator Gianaris honoring Jerry Kril as this year's Veterans' Hall of Fame inductee.

State Senator Michael Gianaris was on hand to honor Astoria’s Jerry Kril in the state senate’s Veterans’ Hall of Fame 2012 Celebration on May 22 in Albany. Kril was recognized for his outstanding service to the United States Army, First Infantry Division, and for his dedication to the Astoria community, particularly in the area of veterans’ affairs. Kril received an honorable discharge from the army in 1970.

 

“I congratulate Jerry Kril for his decorated service to the United States Army and his ongoing commitment to helping the lives of his fellow veterans,” Gianaris said.
