Senate Joint Task Force on Heroin and Opioid Addiction Holds Forums in Penn Yan & Oneonta
Senator Rob Ortt, Co-Chair of the New York State Senate Joint Task Force on Heroin and Opioid Addiction, attended one of two forums held on Tuesday, Feb. 23 to examine the issues facing communities in the wake of the increased heroin and opioid abuse. The Task Force held a public forum at Penn Yan Middle School to continue to solicit input from stakeholders and experts, and use the information collected to develop recommendations for legislative action. The other roundtable discussion was held at SUNY Oneonta.
