Senator Ortt to Sponsor Local Blood Drive to Keep Donations From Declining During Summer Months

In an effort to boost blood donations during the summertime when they can be low, Senator Rob Ortt is partnering with the American Red Cross, City of Lockport Mayor Anne McCaffrey and Lockport Police Chief Mike Niethe to sponsor a Community Blood Drive at Cornerstone Arena in Lockport. 

With many holidays falling during the summer season and many people away on vacation, this time of year is challenging for the Red Cross. The need for blood in New York State and the entire country is significant.
